At some point he decided he’d rather
go for a drive than work on his thesis.
The following is a result of that decision.
What started as a weblog, shared with a handful of friends and colleagues, became the bulk of my thesis. Each morning, for two weeks, sitting in my motel room with a fresh cup of coffee, I would write about the previous day’s events and upload some photos and videos. This is essentially the first draft of my thesis, and I would spend another six months editing photos and expanding certain entries and cleaning up the language (at my supervisor’s request). I’m presenting it here as an unfiltered look into how this work came to be.
Thank you for indulging.
